About

Ashly McBride’s art explores concepts such as reevaluating worth, conservation, and anti- consumption. With a diverse catalog of work that has been featured across the Pacific Northwest, Ashly has explored many mediums, all leading back to recycling found materials.

Graduating in 2020 with a BFA concentrating in mixed media, Ashly was taught various skills that involved basket weaving, paper making, photography/video, and paper mache..

Currently working on large scale installations, involving electrical cables, broken guitar strings, yarn, and various other materials, Ashly resides in Seattle Washington, with an art studio at the Fremont ActivSpace, and a music studio at the Rock Rooms. They are currently available for commission and collaboration.
